My mom got this necklace when she was a teenager when she younger and since than she has had it. It was a sign of hope and protection. After the trip to the museum I talked to my mom and she told me that it was her aunt that gave it to her. Ever since then she has kept it with our family has a sign for hope. Since  I was little she has showed me it and I always wanted it but she always says no.
