La Virgen de Guadalupe
La virgin de Guadalupe is an important thing to my family as we believe and pray to the virgin of guadalupe so our wishes come true and for protection. The virgin of guadalupe is the patron saint of mexico. The virgin de Guadalupe is a lady named Mary depicted with brown skin, an angel and moon at her feet and rays of sunlight that encircle her. People who are catholic and Mexican mostly celebrate her. La virgin de Guadalupe has its own holiday called day of the Virgin of Guadalupe, my family and I celebrate such every year on december 12th and head to church to celebrate with others. This object connects to my life because it's really special to me and my family as i grew up learning about her. There is also a show called la rosa de guadalupe that comes on every week that shows the struggles of different people. A picture of the virgin de Guadalupe and its frame is passed down in my family and has been going on for 30 years.
