La virgen de Guadalupe
LA VIRGEN DE GUADALUPE
It was in 1980, when I started seeing my Grandmother pray in front of many saints. She had so many I was confused for so many saints that she had, then I chose my own...LA VIRGENCITA DE GUADALUPE. I had heard so many miracles of her, I decided to make her my Queen.
The day that I left my country to go to U.S.A. I took her stamp with her picture on it with me. She was so beautiful in her frame covered with glass, her dress was full of sprinkles and on her feet was a bouquet of white tiny flowers. The virgencita is adorable.
I believe that she helped me on my way to U.S.A. Mexican people believe that she is the mother of Mexico and empress of the Americas. It is tradition to celebrate her on December 12, when she appears on the hill of Tepeyac.
I’ve had her stamp for 26 years.
Now she does not have the flowers or the frame with her glass anymore, it was destroyed with the passage of time.
But was has not been destroyed is my love towards my virgencita that love is even bigger and stronger than before.
