The Virgin Maria necklace is important to me because I feel protected when I feel unsafe. Also, I feel that, she will guide me to do good and will help me when I am in need. I grew up learning about her back story and how she had Jesus. La Virgen Maria is someone who I go to when I feel alone or hopeless I feel comfort talking to her about what goes on in my family and the challenges we are going through, I also talk to her about how I am doing in school I tell her all my emotions whether i'm happy or sad. My family has pictures of her in the house I have one in my room along with a small Virgencita that a friend gave me as a present we keep them in my room for protection because we know she has our back.
