My grandmother loves astronomy, and anything related to the planets, stars, etc. Before her grandchildren were born she would give them a name relating to space. I was the firstborn, and she gave me the name "Luna" which is "moon" in Spanish. When my cousins and brother were born she also gave them related names (Estrella, Sol, Tierra). my mother placed this moon in the center of our house, to represent me as the firstborn child and female grandchild. My family uses these names to this day instead of me and my cousin's birth names.
