For as long as I can remember, my grandparents have been hosting Sunday dinner for my extended family. Almost every Sunday my family spends the evening at their house as we eat dinner and start the week with a traditional family gathering. I enjoy spending time with my family because we are very close and have a strong bond. We have made many memories together that will last a lifetime. My grandmother makes chicken, pasta and salad every Sunday while my aunts and mom would sit at the dining room to talk. Oftentimes my uncles usually watch or interact with me and my cousins while we play pickup basketball, baseball or a game that my uncles or cousins make up in the front yard. I believe that spending time with your family provides you with more happiness and for me fills my heart with love. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with family because they show me unconditional love and support. When I create a family of my own I would love to carry the tradition forward so my future children and grandchildren can be as close as I was with my family growing up. I always look forward to Sunday dinner with my loved ones.
