Kona Coffee

My grandpa owned a coffee farm in Hawaii, & my family would always visit him during Easter. His house was at the top of a hill, & to get there and to their rope swing, we had to walk through the coffee trees. It always smelled so fresh, & all you could see were beautiful & lush trees. No one in my family is a coffee drinker, which is why I find it so odd that we always have fancy coffee lying around our house. The gold bag has always reminded me of Hawaii & the scent of coffee has always been comforting. The last time that I saw my grandpa was quite a few years ago, & my family is currently in the process of selling the farm. This makes me sad because when my grandpa died, we scattered his ashes on the farm. I have been shaped by coffee from Hawaii because I have a lot of memories there, & they are happy because I always did really fun things with my cousins. The only time that I went to his extended farm was when we scattered his ashes, & it was really pretty. I was super sad that I had never gone with him to it because he had offered many times. The coffee is a constant reminder of him & the good memories, & I appreciate it.
