Growing up my mom had these two little dolls. We would sometimes call them mini blueberry and strawberry shortcake dolls, only because of their outfits and hair. They had come with this little white bottle with a flower on it. My mom got these gifted to her as a set for her birthday from her aunt Diane. She would tell us aunt Diane would hang them on the top of her tree every year, up until she passed. Now my mom continues the little tradition; every year she hangs them around, in, or on the Christmas tree. As a kid I remember my mom telling me and my siblings we weren’t allowed to touch her little knick knacks and we still aren’t till this day. I think it’s great that we have this little tradition to continue in the family.
