KitchenAid Mixer
I'm the next owner of a wonderful kitchenaid mixer. Yes, as fun as that sounds, I'm looking forward to it. This mixer has been passed down from generation to generation. For those who may be wondering, it does still work even though it’ll be almost four generations old. This mixer has shared so many memories and stories in my family that I can't wait to add my own to it. My Mother has used it while making holiday sugar cookies that are made from early November into the end of December. We use that mixer because it was the one her Mother used and her Mother’s Mother before that. It’s a sense of tradition that is tied with this mixer, the quality of the brand sure has held up. I hope the kitchen aid will hold up so I can pass it one day one to my children. There is a sense that we are tied with the women who owned the mixer before us that makes using it so special, that we are making the same recipes, we are using the same mixer and bring the past to the table of today. Warming the hearts of the present with the help of the tools from the past. One day this mixer will be mine and the cookies will be made with its help, and the memories will be created and reviewed for generations to come.
