this recipe has been in my family for years. we make this delicious Danish dish the morning after Christmas every year! The Aebleskiver's are made in a special pan to help form them into a ball, they are basically pancake balls but they taste so much better. Every year my family does a competition to see who can eat the most, the record is holding strong at 35 as of last year when my cousins fiancé broke the original record of 27. when my great grandma aka bogie was alive she would wake up super early to start making them, when she passed the tradition held strong and got passed down to her children. my great grandpa (poppy) is still alive and still helps them make the Aebleskiver's. I look forward to continuing this tradition with my family because it's a great way to bring the family all together and even have a little fun with it.
