My Family's Kiddush Cup

I watched Reyna Grande's object video. Her object was a dress from Mexico.

I chose my family's Kiddush cup. A Kiddush cup is a cup that Jews use for wine on Shabbat. My great great grandparents immigrated to the US from Ukraine around 1900, this was one of the very few things that they brought with them. It has flowers and a countryside engraved on the sides of it. Out of all of the things they could have brought, they brought this cup, even though it is less than the size of my palm and not very valuable. It is important to my family because it is over 100 years old and represents a part of culture that has been passed down for many generations.
