Kerosene lamp
This kerosene lamp belonged to my family for just about 120 years. It was passed down through my family all the way from Ohio it was a symbol of light for the people who passed it down. It means a lot to my grandma because it shows all the people that came before her in her family. She keeps it up high so it’s like her family is watching down at her all the time. She said that there was so many people before that actually could’ve used it. It was passed down multiple generations until it got to her. It symbolizes family and my family had this lamp for a long time they passed it down for multiple decades and it meant more to them every time they passed it down to their children. This lamp symbolizes all the people that helped you have a better life than them.
