Keep Box
When I was two, I got my 1st pair of Air Forces in a rainbow box from Rite Aid with the air forces box inside. When I was three, I grew out the shoes and I had to replace them. I didn't let my parents throw away the box so I kept it. By the time I turned five, I forgot all about the box. After we moved when I was eight, I tried to be more organized. On my 10th birthday, I was cleaning out my closet to find somewhere to put my money and cards. Soon I found the box. It was untouched and looked brand new. I opened the box and fell into a deep nostalgia. I found cards from my parents' baby shower. Cards written to me since before I was born from people I didn't even know existed. They were so excited to meet me. That feeling, being loved and wanted, will forever bring me warmth. It’s an unexplainable and indescribably amazing feeling. Ever since then I put all my cards, letters, gifts, notes, and anything with value to me in that box. So in the future when I am at a low point in my life I can look back in the box so I can relive that feeling of love and warmth.
