Item of Identity

One item that can identify me is my jar of paper stars. I got it when I was in 6th grade in Mrs. Berry’s room (the 6th grade Science room.) We all had to fold paper stars at the end of the year, just for fun. I’m going to be honest - most of the stars you see in the jar are not from me. They were from people who were willing to give away some stars from their jar. I wasn’t the best paper star folder. But that’s what made them special. It contains happy, extraordinary, and surprising moments. Seeing the jar every day on my desk reminds me of my happy beginning of the Middle School journey. Guess you can say that I am the one who would cherish important and happy memories. Where I met my first middle school friends. People who make me laugh and smile. I will not forget how happy I was beginning middle school.
