Japanese Mount Fuji Painting
My parents made a long journey coming to America. My parents immigrated from India. They both did not come from families that had a lot of money. They came to America to start their life and succeed and they did. My parents actually immigrated from India first to Japan. They started their lives in Japan. My dad says that he loved Japan, even more than America. They lived in Japan for two years. They did a lot of things in Japan that they normally wouldn’t do in India. Their most memorable thing was climbing Mount Fuji. This was the last thing they did in Japan before coming to the US. This was very important to them because it reminded them of their younger selves and lives. They cherish this very much and because of that they bought a painting of Mount Fuji to remember that.
