Japanese Kokeshi Dolls
These kokeshi dolls are from Japan. My mom bought them at a shrine sale when we lived there. These dolls are one of a kind and she found them as a set. They are my older sister, the larger doll on the left. I am the shorter one and the small animal in between us is our dog Sora. While living in Japan we learned a lot about culture, art, and many other things. The dolls are all hand-carved and they are all different designs. We have many more kokeshi dolls, but these two are the most important to use because they represent our family.
