A licorice root is a small stick that you can rub on your teeth and it will clean it. Licorice root is from Asia and Europe. After you finished with the end of the stick you can just cut it and use it again and again. My Great Great Grandmother was in Bangladesh when she used the licorice root. And my Great Grandfather took it and he gave the licorice root to my grandfather in America. This important to my Great grandfather because his mother died and he loved her so since my Grandfather loves his dad he keeps it for him.Also in some cultures they try to be more organic or some people just like using the licorice root like me.
