My dad migrated here from Jamaica. He came here because his mom my grandma did not like my grandpa because he cheated on her multiple times. My grandfather liked the Chinese and Japanese culture My jade is a good representation of me being different and celebrating differences. My object is a jade chain this item was given to me by my dad when I was 10. This item is precious to me because when my dad gave  It to me he said this will always protect me. Ever since that whenever  I am scared or doing something dangerous I always hold it and think of my dad helping me threw the way of what I am doing. Even though I am Jamaican, this is still part of my culture because me and my dad accept it in to our culture.
