What you see before you is a jade bracelet. It belongs to my grandma. I had one that my mom gave me when I was little. In my culture a mom always buys her daughter one or gives them their own. It is very popular to have one in China.  The Jade bracelets are usually made in China. It is used to protect you and make you feel safe since it is from a relative just like the color red in my culture is supposed to protect you.  This object means everything to Chinese families because it past down from relatives which makes you feel safe since you always know that they will be with you in your heart when you have it.  This is a part of me because it is from my culture and whenever I see it I get reminded of where my family came from.
