My heirloom is of my grandpa's Vietnam war jacket with the medals he got during the war. It's also the stories that I never get to hear because he was killed at a bar in the US before I was born. Each day I wonder what he was like. I know he was a marksman in the war and had three  medals. I know the fact that he sent pictures back of him holding an ak47 on a machine gun bunker. My grandpa's story is crazy because he went on his own terms and went to fight the Vietcong. I can learn stories from elders about how great of a person he was, and he was the wrong person to be killed. I would love to meet him in heaven. My grandpa was the coolest guy
