This Ivory box was passed down to my great grandma from her father, my great great grandfather. This Ivory box is very important to me because it’s a way of keeping my family history alive. There are many important items in this box that were put in from my family before me. Within the box are many items like patches from war uniforms items there is also jewelry, money, coins, and much more. When my great great grandfather passed my great grandma was handed down the box for safe keeping. When my father was a boy he put money in the box so that when he got older he could see how much the money changed. In the future my great grandma will pass it down to one of her children and so on. I believe that one day the box will be passed down to me so I can continue with the tradition.
