Italian Coin Bracelet        My artifact is a coin bracelet, this bracelet was from Italy. My great-grandfather's cousin would visit from Italy time to time bringing gifts along the way. Both my grandparents are 100% Italian. This artifact connects my family to our ancestors that we did not have a chance to meet. I have relatives that still live in Italy. When my great grandmother died it was passed down to my Mother, Heather Henriksen. On the bracelet it has the letters S.P.Q.R. These letters stand for The Senate and People of Rome. This is referring to the Ancient  government of the Roman Republic. My grandfather Don Lane’s family lived in a town outside of Rome.
