My object is a plate from Ireland. My family immigrated from Ireland to the US a long time ago. My great aunt Madeline went to Ireland and brought it back for my grandma. She gave it to my dad and now we have it in our house by all of our china. This item is important to me because it represents my culture, my family name, and because it's from my aunt who I never knew but, she is important to my family.
