During Diwali Night!

This photo represents a dance form called Bharatanatyam. This dance form can "story tell"! Meaning, whoever performs this dance is able to communicate to the audience without talking. Using eye movements, hand, and leg gestures. For the past many generations, Indian people have performed this type of dance very proudly. Bharatanatyam is an "art". The reason I was interested in this dance was because of my lovely parents. They encouraged me to do this art form. Not because they wanted to keep the tradition. They wanted me to learn something new and cultural. I've gotten many opportunities to dance on stages because of the first time my parents had me try the new experience. I've done this dance for about 8 years. I started when I was 4 years old. Bharatanatyam is an "art" that would NEVER leave my heart and i would keep practicing it so I can get EVEN better at the expressions or gestures
