There was a book given to me when I was very young called “In A Dark Dark Room And Many More Scary Stories” . This book was made in 1984 and published in the I Can Read Series with more description into this book. It was filled with multiple small urban legends and horror stories to be retold to children . At First I was very spooked by this book as I read each story would send shivers down my spine and I would have to stop reading for awhile until I can keep reading I Was very much a book nerd where I would rather stay inside at recess and read books, all types of books Nonfiction, fiction, history books, romance and even poetry etc. But this book stood out to me in particular because it had a variety of stories that would make me wonder everytime. (Yes I do understand a 2nd Grader in 2015, we were always curious kids still trying to figure out this world). This book meant alot to me because It was read to me from my older brothers when they were little it took me a whole year to actually get through the book without shivering, or stopping due to nerves
