Immune
Ever since I was born in America it has been a big part of my life to educate myself on everything I can. Ever since I was really little, my mom was always working with me on my education. When I was 2 years old my mom started reading to me and started teaching me. Until I could read when I was around 3 and a half years old.My mom would do flashcards with me on math, letters, what sounds letters make, and prefixes. For example “Ch” or “Tr”. I caught on quickly and soon it became very special to me to read with her every day. This is one of the main reasons that I chose a book. In my family, books are very special and are valued. It has always been instilled in me that I need to read in order to have the smartest mind I can. I believe in this because books hold knowledge, knowledge that can not be bought, but knowledge that has to be learned, and will always be on those pages. I have always been taught that reading is the way to expand your mind, and that reading is the key to success. I put all my faith on this because most of everything I have been taught has been through a book. I am currently reading a book called “Immune”. It is about the immune system. Me and my mom go around 2 times a year to buy new books. I like non-fiction books the best because they hold the most information. I have also read books like “Physics”, “Aerospace”, and more. I hope my children understand the value of books, like the way my family has instilled in me. Finally, I hope that I can have the same special days reading with my children the way my mom did with me.
