This item is a common item, but its still special to me because we use it on special occasions/events. On days like New Years or anniversaries we use this to celebrate. This item comes from China and is commonly used. This item is special to my family because it reminds us of our culture and anniversaries. The first time I ate a hot pot was when I was a kid. My parents introduced it to me on new years, and we used it for anniversaries of my grandpa's death. This item is different from regular cooking pots because it can boil water away from the kitchen. You can tell when something is fully cooked. The hot pot is put at the center of the table, and many people can eat from it, many times when we use this we have people over. This item is important to my religion or culture because Mongolians created it so that soldiers could sit around it and eat together.
