Honduras Necklace
My Honduras Necklace
My object is a necklace from Honduras. It is used to wear for any celebration or just every day use. It is made out of cermaic beads. The beads are a blue and a teal color with black. The colors are very common in Honduras. They wear bright clothing and jewelry. I chose to share it because it reminds my aunt because my aunt was one that give me. It is special to have an item that has been passed down to you that you can actually wear. My aunt worked in a factory. Factory workers have important jobs in Honduras, as it is an area that exports many goods. Every few years she was allowed to have some beads. She made these beads into a beautiful necklace that I now own. She gave me this necklace on my birthday. The necklace is expensive in Honduras. Not many people could afford a beautiful necklace like this one. I hope to take care of the necklace and one day pass it down like it was passed down to me.
