Growing up I only had one grandmother, my Nana Sharon, whose unwavering strength and resilience inspired me daily. A few words to describe my nana would be caring, kind, witty, resilient, and extremely artistic. She faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, and I admired her for that. After her recent passing, one cherished memory stands out vividly: on a warm summer day in 2025, she took me to Jared Jewelers, where we each picked out the same sparkly diamond heart necklace. 

The necklace itself sparkles brilliantly, reflecting not only light but also the love that my Nana poured into our lives. Wearing it makes me feel connected to her, as if her spirit is right there with me. This was the last piece of jewelry I received from her before she passed away, which makes it incredibly important to me. The heart necklace is a treasured symbol of her endless love, reminding me that no matter the distance, her warmth and memory will always be close to my heart. Although my future children will never get to meet her, I hope to share her story with them through this necklace. I plan to tell them about the beautiful moments we shared and the wisdom she imparted. Every time they see the necklace, I want them to understand that it is like a timeless treasure, sparkling with the love and lessons she has shared, forever illuminating their paths with her warmth and guidance.
