Headphones
My prized possession is my headphones. I bought them a year ago after my airpods broke. I got them purely because they only needed 2 hours to charge and lasted 55 hours. They have done so much more in my life. I now use them 24/7. I consider them the most important thing to me. These headphones help me by letting me listen to music or just muffle out sound. This object brings peace or helps me calm down during times where I'm stressed or overstimulated. A story where my headphones have helped me during an important time is all my life. I never owned the same pair during my whole life, but in the hardest times, known as my Teen Years. The time where my headphones became my most prized possession is when I was going through a really hard time, just finding out that my dog had gone missing and that my sister took him. I was super upset and just started crying when I heard the news because I thought I'd lost the dog I've been growing up with all my life because of one simple argument between others. I just stayed on my bed and put my headphones on blast, ignoring the problems in the world for a moment and calming myself down with the music. Ever since that time I've realized that my headphones are a useful de-stresser and I don’t go anywhere without them, whether it’s just going to the park, or going to the store, or anywhere else. They have become practically a part of me and I don’t think I would have dealt with so many things without my headphones.
