Hat
This hat belonged to my great-grandfather, Pedro Maria Ruiz, who lived in Maracay, Venezuela. He was my mothers grandfather. Pedro was a carpenter, and would fabricate furniture and instruments, and would wood carve different figurines. He would make my mom large size doll beds, but my mom would always break them, so my great grandfather would have to always fix them. Pedro also made my mother an instrument called a cuatro(a Venezuelan instrument with the body of a small guitar) but its had a triangle body, instead of the traditional body. As a gift, Pedro even made my mother and her two sisters, different pencils in different sizes and shape. For example, my mother had the pencil that twenty-inches long, with a big width.
