My parents both immigrated from Korea. My dad as a teenager and my mom as soon as she graduated from high school. My extended family(grandma, great grandma...) all also immigrated to the United States. The hanbok, traditional attire from Korea, is a reminder of my families root from the Korean peninsula and a symbol of my families culture.
