The hat that my grandfather passed down to my two uncles and now belongs to me now.This bought at hat will always be my grandfathers and will never throw it away or take it for granted.My grandfather is a special place in my heart and I will never forget him.This traces back to his roots in Alabama when all his family always use to wear straw essence and people used to make fun in school them for it and that ended in my grandfather breaking his silence and punching them in the face and being suspended for a month.When he passed the hat down my grandfather said to not let anybody make fun of you for who you are and what you wear and that stuck with me.To this day I don’t let anybody make fun of me.The straw hat has some hat because it carries some insight on how poor my family was when my grandfather had to share his house with a lot of brothers and sisters and he had a mother and a father who tried to do there best with what kind of jobs they had and the best thing to support that was the straw hat my grandfather got from a carnival.This gives insight on how my grandfather’s family came from humble beginnings to good lives.
