My grandparents all immigrated from Greece and have imparted so much of the culture on me, but I would say the most influential of my grandparents was my paternal grandfather. He had an incredibly deep love of music and even had a room in his home here in America filled with Greek records and instruments to play his own music. I remember my father once said to me that if my grandfather could've ever picked any career he would've picked to be a musician because of his love for music. Although he has since passed away, I and my family still listen to Greek music, old and new, because he passed that love of music down to us.
