My object is a doll that is also a lamp that was made by my great grandmother.  This doll lamp was made out of many different beads, some being clear, red, blue and a cream color. She made this lamp for my Grandmother's room. My great grandmother made this doll for my grandmother and it sparked her journey of collecting dolls for herself. This was then passed down to my mother and it was a lamp in her room too. Later on my mother put this doll lamp in my room before I was even born and it sat on the shelf until I was around 8 years old. I then moved it to my closet because I thought it was a little creepy, but I plan to put it in my daughter’s room when she is little. Hopefully it doesn’t creep her out and she can pass it on to her own daughter.
