Grandpa's Keychain

Relationship: Child of im/migrant

My dad gave more of a background story. He actually started to cry thinking of this. This "keychain" as we like to call it was very meaningful to my father. Even though my grandpa was not the greatest to my grandma, my grandma had hope in my grandpa. She got this engraved with my grandpa's name and would pray every time he was doing something he wasn't supposed to. She gave it to my father as a reminder to always be a great father and be a great husband. It is now in my hands and I pray for myself to be the greatest mom and greatest wife. It gives me hope that it is possible and not only do I pray with it but it has my grandpa's name and now I have something that used to belong to my grandparents.
