Dominoes from Puerto Rico

My grandpa's dominoes holds a special place in my heart because even though he is no longer with me, I feel him through the dominoes. This game is what Puerto Ricans play to pass the time as well as compete against each other. It is interesting because it represent family, friend, and memories. Also, it takes me back to a place that we call home!

The playing of this game has been passed down from my grandfather to my brother and I . So, now we continue the tradition of playing the game and keep the memories of playing with my grandfather alive. This game is rooted in my family's history because my mom's uncles and cousins compete around Latin American countries. So this Domino game represents generations of competition warm memories that designs "Who we Are?"
