Grandma’s earrings
My mom had migrated to the United States and she was going to visit her mom for Mother’s Day. She went to a shop in Seattle and got her gold earrings which is a tradition in Mexico that each woman owns one pair of gold earrings. My grandma loved these earrings so much that she never took them off ever! But then my grandma got very sick and was about to die, so my mother took them with her as a memory of her mother. My mother could never wear those earring so she gave them to me to wear. I plan on giving them to my future children to pass down to the future generations so the earrings become a family tradition.
