This ring is important to my family and I because it has been passed down from my great grandpa, to my grandpa, and then was given to my mom who will give it to my younger brother when he is older. My great grandpa wore this almost his entire adult life and wanted to pass it on throughout generations as a family heirloom. Seeing my grandpa and my brother when he's older wearing it will keep my great grandfather's memory alive. He had a July birthday so he bought the ring that had his birthstone which was ruby. I know that this ring will continue my great grandfather's legacy because of it's meaning fullness.
