Golden cross chain
My object, a golden cross chain, tells the story of my grandfather that I was named after, Felix. My grandfather passed away at the age of 63. I was only 5 months old when he passed away. When I was born, my father called my grandfather in Mexico as soon as possible to give him the news that he had named me after my him, he was very surprised. Even though I never got to meet him in person nor even spoke with him I love him. My father always told me stories about my grandfather and how special this chain was. My grandfather was a very hard working man who brought food to the table to his wife and to his 9 kids. When my father came to the United States at the age of 15, my grandfather had given him the chain for good luck to get to the U.S. safely. This golden cross chain means so much to my dad and now to me as well because my father gave me something my grandfather once wore which makes feel great because I know he's watching over us.
