My most valuable object is my grandmas Golding necklace. It originally came from my grandma. It has been passed down for six generations. When I was a little girl, I asked my grandma, ‘’where did she get that necklace?” She said her mother gave her that beautiful necklace once she turned 16. Her mom told her to take care of the gold necklace and that she would pass it down to the next generation. When it was my birthday and I turned 16,  my grandma came over to visit me and say happy birthday. The end of the day came fast and she called for me to come sit with her. When she pulled  out a white box, I recognized the necklace. She told me as a child I was so happy and I almost cried. She told me that it was my turn to take care of it and pass the necklace down to the next generations. And to this day, I still remember when she said and I will carry the necklace until l I pass it down to the next generation.
