ThIs artifact is a German holy water font. Fonts are usually placed in the front of a church to dip your fingers in when you enter a church. Although, the one that was passed down through my family was most likely bought or made for my great grandmother, Helga Newsbomb. My great grandmother gave it to my grandma, and she gave it to my mom, who now keeps it in my attic. The font is made of a copper material, and is painted a matte dark grey. The price of the font is unknown, but the average price ranges from $9.00-$30.00.
