Soccer
I’ve been playing soccer since I was 12 and have always loved watching soccer growing up. The first soccer team I was on was growing up in Honduras. The first soccer team I started to play with was FcKairos with my cousin and friends. Every weekend we had soccer games against different neighborhoods. The second soccer team I started to play was Fc Galaxy. I played with them for 2 years. Then they sent me to try out with a team Fc Olimpia for a month. I passed my test. I signed a contract with the soccer team for 4 years. I only played 1 year because I started to realize that school was more important to me than just running behind a soccer ball even if they were paying me monthly. But I just wanted something better than playing soccer.
When I came up to America I started to play soccer with Jeremiah E. Burke High School. We started to play soccer and we won the City championship against South Boston. Then we made it to the State championship. Burke was the first Boston school to make it to the state championship and we made it to the final. The whole stadium was full and we were so excited to win the State Championships for Burke HS. We were the first team that made it to the State Tournament, We played the final and that was a memory never to forget because you know that you put Boston on the map. But the hurtful part is that we made it so far and lost the game in the last 10 seconds of extra time. That was a sad moment with a good memory to never forget. But next tournament we make our best to bring home the city championship and the state championship.
