The tradition I want to start in my family is saving and passing down my son’s first pair
of baby Jordans. His first Jordans represent the very beginning of his life’s journey and
a time I will always cherish. They remind me of how fast time moves and how every
stage of his life matters.
I plan to keep his baby Jordans so that one day they can be passed down to his first
son. From there, the tradition would continue, with each generation passing the shoes
from father to son. Jordans are often seen as just sneakers, but for our family they will
symbolize confidence, growth, and style.
This tradition starts with me choosing to hold onto something meaningful instead of
letting it be outgrown and forgotten. The purpose is to mark each generation’s “first
steps” in life and to remind them that every journey begins somewhere. By sharing the
story behind the shoes, this tradition will stay intentional and meaningful for years to
come.
