My great grandma Emma on my moms side immigrated from Spain to New York in 1930 because her dad was working here. Then in 1955 her two cousins came to visit their sick aunt in New York, but they liked New York so much they ended up staying here. So now at every holiday or birthday, my whole my whole family would come over to my house to celebrate, most of the time my mom cooks Spanish food. My favorite Spanish meal is called tortilla and it’s cooked with eggs and potato. The reason why it’s my favorite meal is because it’s really filling and has a great flavor.
