n Shelbyville, Tennessee, my great, great uncle Joel Orval Fly founded and ran a textile company. In between the times of 1916- 1985 Fly Manufacturing Company produced a wide range of shirts, pants, jeans, and jackets. They also produced army fatigues for US soldiers at the time of World War II.

My grandma, Joel Fly's niece, recently handed me six different pairs of Fly pants. They were a perfect fit. People always ask me where I got them and how they can obtain them whenever I wear them. So, I have decided I want to start the company again and have it based in Shelbyville to bring some jobs back into the small town. I hope to bring back the flared, wide leg, low waisted pants look.
