Picture on the right is my dad getting baptized, picture on the left is my cousin and uncle.

I chose these two pictures because to my dad they meant something very special to him. His family. From what he told me, his family was a very important part of his life. The photo to the right was when my dad was getting baptized at a church in Mexico, and he was still 10 at the time. He picked this photo because inside that one church, was a time where every member of his family came together and held a feast. He said it was a fun and exciting moment in his life. Now on the other hand, the picture on the left is one of my cousin and uncle, my dad wasn’t in the picture. When he told me about this picture, he said he met a lot of new family member that he hadn’t even known before. The picture was taken at my cousins party, way before I was born. The party was of when he was turning 13 and my dad was already 16. My uncle is a whole different story, he was about 14, so right in between. Now back to the party, my grandma was hosting it at her house back in Mexico. My dad and cousin were nervous, but they didn’t give into their nerves. Later on when the guests arrived my dad was very happy, because his mom (my grandma) had told him about his ancestors, which he hadn’t known about. He fell in love with his new family members and he talked lots with them. Special occasions with family were a very exciting moment for my dad, he said he always cherished them.
