Family Coat Of Arms

My object is a needlepoint canvas with the R----- (family name) coat of arms on it. The coat of arms has a crest which is a hand holding up the imperial crown of Scotland. The crest represents the R---- family support of King James I. On the shield there are three wolves which represent fortitude, perseverance and sincerity. At the bottom is a picture of a man in chains which represents the murderers of King James I. The R----- family brought the murderers to justice. This object was made by my great grandmother on my dad's side while she was living in Colorado in 1960. My dad is the youngest of six R---- kids and the only male to have a son. This means my younger brother is the last of the R--- men the United States. This object represents the Scottish side of my family which is 50 % of who I am. My object is miscellaneous and I like it because it symbolizes my family's history and Scottish culture. This coat of arms relates to Scotland, family history, coat of arms and immigration.
