The object I chose is my family album. This item is not only important to me but to my family too. It is important to us because it has multiple pictures of my sisters and i when we were just babies. And when my mom and dad were younger.
       Every time me, my sisters, and my mom look at the photo again, it makes us all happy. My sisters, my mother, and I look back at the photos again. It makes us all happy seeing our younger selves.  There are multiple questions that I ask my mom as we all look at the pictures. Such as, where were we? When did this party happen? How old were we? And  many more . This family album matters because it shows various different times on when we were babies, old family friends, and my parents when they were younger.     
     The story behind my object is that every time my mom told my siblings and i to clean and organize the closet with supplies in the living room, we would always stumble across the album and look at the pictures inside of it . Each person in my family has their own separate album about them. My mom and my dad had one when they were younger while me and my sisters each  have our own individual album. In these albums its pictures of when we were at parties, church, naming ceremonies and many other things.        
 This object is connected to my family and I because it gives us a visual of how we looked like as kids . We also learn many new things about my parents and its a part of my identity by showing me where i came from.
