My grandma's engagement rings hold a great deal of sentimental value for my family. These rings come from both sides of my grandma's family, with one being passed down from her mother's side and the other from her father's side. The ring from her mother's side was originally used when my grandma's grandmother got engaged. After her grandmother's passing, the ring was given to my grandma's mother, who then passed it down to my grandma. On the other hand, the ring from her father's side was her grandmother's engagement ring. Shortly before my grandma's grandmother passed away, she gave the ring to my grandma as an anniversary present. These rings will continue to be passed down through generations to come, with my mother receiving one next and myself, which i will eventually use to propose.
